What Is the Coding Ireland St. Patrick's Day Challenge?

The St. Patrick's Day Challenge 2025 is open to students aged 7-12 and encourages them to design their own St. Patrick's Day-themed project using Scratch or MakeCode Arcade

Key Information

  • 🍀 Age Group: Students aged 7-13
  • 📌 Challenge Categories:
    • Anything they like—games, animations, or gadgets—as long as it’s tied to St. Patrick’s Day or Ireland in their own unique way!
  • 🗓 Submission Deadline: Tuesday, 18th March 2025
  • 🏅 Judging Criteria: Creativity, Technical Skill, Storytelling, Interactivity, and Overall Presentation
  • 🎁 Prizes: Exciting prizes include Microbits, Game Go Arcades, and more! 
  • 📣 Announcement of Winners: Winners will be featured on the Coding Ireland website and social media feeds.
