Workshop Facilitator

As a Workshop Facilitator with Coding Ireland, you'll lead fun, interactive workshops that inspire and engage students in coding and digital skills. We’ll provide all the materials and support you need to run dynamic, hands-on sessions. You’ll have the freedom to set your own schedule, choosing when and where to run workshops that fit your availability. This is your chance to make a real impact while enjoying the flexibility to work on your own terms and build your experience in an exciting and growing field.
What will I be doing? 😃
- Delivering interactive, hands-on workshops that teach students valuable coding and digital skills in a fun and engaging way
- Engaging with schools, libraries, and youth centers to schedule and promote workshops that fit your availability
- Adapting lesson plans to suit different group sizes, ages, and learning levels, ensuring every student is inspired
- Creating a positive, encouraging learning environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork among students
- Representing Coding Ireland in your community by building relationships with educators and community leaders
- Providing feedback to help continuously improve and evolve workshop offerings based on your experiences and participant engagement
What skills do I need? 🤹♀️
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to engage and inspire students of all ages
- Proactive approach to organising and scheduling workshops
- Creativity in delivering educational content
- Flexibility to adapt workshop materials as needed
- Previous experience in teaching or workshops is a plus
