The following positions are based in our office in Carlow, Ireland with flexible WFH options.

Content Creator & Instructor

What's the opportunity? ๐Ÿค”

Your role is to create coding & STEM lessons, projects and content that are educational, fun, creative and engaging. You will be involved in shaping our teacher training and student courses helping thousands of teachers and students learn about coding & STEM. We've a great educational platform that both teachers and students love, the future is going to be exciting!

What will I be doing? ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

  • Working with our team to create coding & STEM courses for students in primary, secondary and youth centers
  • Working with our team to create pathways for teachers to train in how to teach coding & STEM
  • Create innovative and engaging coding project videos that will be distributed on our platform & social media
  • Create coding & STEM teaching aids that will be used in class rooms
  • Learn how to run and teach online "Code Along" classes (we'll show you how!)
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of coding & STEM education
  • Working with other functions to improve business processes
  • Engaging in team development and mentoring

What skills do I need? ๐Ÿคนโ€โ™€๏ธ

  • Strong desire to be in coding & STEM education and build a career with us
  • A background in coding/programming (Teaching experience is a +)
  • Knowledge of different programming languages, platforms and technologies
  • Highly motivated and self-driven
  • Strong organisation and time management
  • Proactive, collaborative and coachable
  • Intellectually curious and problem solving

Sales & Marketing Manager

What's the opportunity? ๐Ÿค”

Your role is to lay the foundation by engaging with prospects and customers, helping them understand the value of Coding Ireland and how we help them teach Coding & STEM in their school. As Coding Ireland's first point of contact, you play a key role in creating a great first impression, and building momentum for not only the sales team but the company as a whole. We've a great educational platform that both teachers and students love, the future is going to be exciting!

What will I be doing? ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

  • Creating and prioritising strategic target customer lists
  • Generating new business pipeline through cold calling, email, social and marketing
  • Build relationships with our customers ensuring revenue growth and customer retention
  • Work with current customers to understand their education needs, and provide solutions based on our platform to facilitate them
  • Develop advanced knowledge of our customers and their needs
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of our platform and its value to customers
  • Working with other functions to improve business processes
  • Engaging in team development and mentoring

What skills do I need? ๐Ÿคนโ€โ™€๏ธ

  • Strong desire to be in Sales and build a career with us
  • 1-2 years of customer-facing work experience (Sales experience is a +)
  • Prospecting skills (cold calling, email, social)
  • Proven record of success and hitting KPI's
  • Highly motivated and self-driven
  • Strong organisation and time management
  • Proactive, collaborative and coachable
  • Intellectually curious and problem solving
