    1 - Welcome to Counting

    Have you ever counted your pets or favourite colours in French? Today we're learning how to count from 1 to 10 in French so you can talk about quantities confidently!

    Numbers are everywhere - counting apples at the market, pages in a book, players on a football team. Knowing French numbers helps you understand prices, phone numbers, and sports scores when speaking French.

    By the end of this lesson, you will be able to:

    • Count from un (1) to dix (10) perfectly
    • Recognise numbers when you hear them spoken
    • Use numbers to describe how many pets or colours you have

    2 - French Numbers 1-10

    Notice how some sound similar to English ('Quatre' sounds like 'four'!) while others are completely different like 'huit' for eight.
