Think about your character. Who are they? What do they like? What do they look like? Jot down your ideas on a piece of paper.
Using your brainstorming notes, sketch your character on a piece of paper. Don't worry about details yet, just get the basic shape and personality across.
Visit Piskel website. Click on 'Create Sprite' to start a new project.
Refer to your sketch and start creating your character in Piskel. Use the pencil tool to draw, the color palette to choose colors, and the eraser to fix any mistakes. Take your time and have fun!
Once you're happy with your character, click on 'Export' and save your character as a .png file to your computer.
