    1 - Introduction to AI

Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is like a smart computer that can learn things on its own. But how does AI learn things? Let's find out! For starters, write down what you think AI is and what it does.

We will compare this with what you learn at the end of this lesson.

2 - AI in our Lives

AI is all around us. It's in our phones, our games, and even our cars! Think about how when you search for something on the internet, the next time you search, the internet remembers what you like. That's AI at work!

Now, draw a picture of where you think AI might be used in your daily life.

3 - How Does AI Learn?

Just like you learn by reading or listening, AI (Artificial Intelligence) learns by looking at lots of information. This process is called 'training'. Let's understand this with a fun activity.

    1. Think of your favorite animal. It could be a cat, dog, elephant, or any other animal you like.
    2. Now, draw a picture of this animal on a piece of paper. Don't worry if it's not perfect, just do your best!
    3. Imagine you have a robot friend who doesn't know what this animal is. You want to teach your robot friend to recognize this animal. How would you do it? You would probably show the robot lots of pictures of the animal and say, 'This is a [name of your animal]'.
    4. That's exactly how AI learns! If you show an AI lots of pictures of cats and tell it, 'This is a cat,' it will learn what a cat looks like. The more pictures it sees, the better it gets at recognizing cats.
    5. Now, think of an example where AI needs to learn something. It could be recognizing a different animal, understanding a language, or anything else you can think of. Draw a picture of this example.

    4 - AI Making Decisions

AI can also make decisions. For example, in a video game, AI can decide how a character moves based on the rules of the game. It's like playing a game of chess and deciding which move is the best. Can you think of a game you play where AI might be making decisions?

Write it down and describe how AI might be used in that game.

    5 - Understanding AI

So, AI works by learning from a lot of information and then making decisions based on what it has learned. The more it learns, the better it gets. This is why your phone or game can do so many amazing things! Try to think of something amazing that a phone or game does and draw a picture of it happening.
