💡 Pronunciation Tips for Spanish Farewells
- Listen carefully to each audio clip and repeat after it. Spanish has clear vowel sounds – try to roll the 'r' in words like Hasta luego .
- Make the 'j' sound like a soft 'h' from the back of your throat, not like in English. Practise Hasta luego until it feels smooth.
- For Hasta pronto , stress the 'pron' and let the 'to' sound crisp, like 'see you soon'.
- Chao is short and casual – say it quickly like 'bye' to friends.
