In Germany, family is really important. People love talking about their 'Mutter' and 'Vater' just like we do in Ireland.
Here are the German words for your family members. Click each one to hear the pronunciation, then repeat after the audio. Notice how some words start with der (masculine) and others with die (feminine) - this is an important German rule!
