In France, the school week starts on 'Lundi' (Monday) and children have sports on 'Vendredi' like many Irish schools. Knowing the days helps you make plans with French friends!
Here are the seven French days of the week. Click each one to hear how it's pronounced, then say it with a big clear voice! Notice how some sound similar to English like 'Samedi' (Saturday).
Try to spot the patterns - many end with the same sounds! The French week starts on Monday just like ours.
