    1 - Safari Adventure

    Imagine you're on a safari in Africa, spotting amazing wild animals! Today we're learning how to name these incredible creatures in German. German explorers and scientists use these words when studying animals around the world.

    By the end of this lesson, you will:

    • Spot and name 8 wild animals in German
    • Know which animals use 'der' and which use 'die'
    • Recognise wild animals from pictures

    2 - Meet the Wild Animals

    Here are today's new German words for wild animals you'll see on safari. Notice how some start with 'der' (masculine) and others with 'die' (feminine). Click each word to hear the correct German pronunciation, then repeat after it!

    3 - Label the Safari

    Label the ImageLook at each wild animal picture and click the correct German name! There are four choices for each - choose carefully and listen to the audio if you need help.

    4 - Sort by Gender
