The Maths Week Challenge runs from Monday 5th October to Friday 16th October, and entering takes about a minute: you set up a free account, fill in one short form, and your class is in. It is open to every primary school in Ireland, 2nd class to 6th.
There is nothing to prepare and nobody else to sign up — nobody needs a login but you. No pupil accounts, no devices to hand out. The class plays together on your board, and your best single go decides where you stand. Register today and your class can join the next school day's goes.
🧮What your class is signing up for
Ten school days, Monday 5th to Friday 16th October, with two quick goes every school day — each one three minutes on the classroom board, the whole class answering together.
- ✓It is a class competition, not a school one. Your 4th class is ranked against other 4th classes, with a separate leaderboard for each level, 2nd to 6th.
- ✓Only your best single go counts — a missed day or a bad go costs you nothing.
- ✓Leaderboards run all Ireland and by county, and the county table is the one any class can realistically top.
You only have to beat the classes in your own county.

Winners are announced on Thursday 22nd October — and every class that plays gets something.
