- save format 1 as a v4 copy
- show your teacher one change and one reason
Warm-up
Open {{code:sm2_peer_feedback_round1}}. Star one point and write {{code:Accept?}} or {{code:Reject?}} beside it.
Missing a file?
If {{code:sm2_peer_feedback_round1}} is missing, make it in {{code:sm2}} and add your partner's two points. If you missed the rehearsal, use these two:
1. The opening is slow, so start with the problem you solve.
2. Add a few jokes so it feels less formal.
If format 1 is missing, use {{code:sm2_edit_practice_YourName}} instead.
2 - Key Concepts ~5 mins
Accept means you change the work so a viewer can see the difference.
Reject means you keep your choice and write one line saying why.
A change note is one line for each point, saying what you changed or kept.
v4 is a renamed copy of format 1. You edit the copy, so the old file stays safe.
Your v4 name
Pick the name for your format:

3 - Step-by-step Task ~14 mins
You will practise on a sample first. If you use slides, make the two slides below, then follow the steps in the box.

If you use CapCut, Canva or audio, watch the demo, then do these steps instead:
- Cut some words from your work.
- Export it and give it your v4 name.
- Put it in {{code:sm2}} and check that it opens.
- Make {{code:sm2_peer_feedback_practice}} and type this change note:
4 - Common Issues ~3 mins
Common issues
- I wrote a note but didn't change the file. Make a visible edit in your v4 copy for every point you accept.
- I renamed my old file instead of copying it. Ask your teacher to help you get it back from version history.
- I can't find {{code:sm2_peer_feedback_round1}}. Make it in {{code:sm2}} with that exact name, then add your two points.
5 - Independent Practice ~20 mins
Independent Practice
- In {{code:sm2}}, open format 1 and {{code:sm2_peer_feedback_round1}}.
- Make a copy of format 1 and give it the v4 name for your format:sm2_vet_presentation_v4 (slides)
sm2_vet_video_v4 (CapCut)
sm2_vet_canva_v4 (Canva)
sm2_vet_audio_v4 (audio) - Go through each feedback point. Accept it and change the v4, or reject it.
- On {{code:sm2_peer_feedback_round1}}, write one line for each point, using these starters if you like:Accepted: ... because ...
Rejected: ... - audience/purpose reason: ... - Show your teacher one change and one reason when they come round.
If you use CapCut, Canva or audio, export your v4 into {{code:sm2}} and check it opens.
- My v4 is in {{code:sm2}} with the right name and one clear change.
- Every feedback point has a line on {{code:sm2_peer_feedback_round1}}.
- Each reject has a reason about my audience.
- My teacher has ticked my work.
