You have no pencil. Your neighbour has one. Can you ask for it in Spanish, right now, before we open today's words?
Here are today's eight classroom objects. Tap each one, listen, then say it back together with el or la. The ask you need is short: ¿Me prestas…? (meh PREHS-tahs), and a polite no is Lo siento, no puedo (loh SYEN-toh, noh PWEH-doh).
Listen for each classroom word and mark it on your card. First full line calls out. Say the word quietly to yourself as you mark it so the sound sticks.
Open your copy and write the question that asks to borrow something, and one polite answer that says no. Check every accent before you put your pen down.
A short school scene is about to play. Listen all the way through once, then answer the questions. You can replay the clip if a line goes past too fast.
