Look at our school front. Spot the round clock, the door, and the roof over the porch. What shapes are hiding in plain sight?
Watch each shape land in its box.
A big square and a tiny square are both squares.
A turned triangle is still a triangle.
Six shape cards are waiting on the board, and the class will take turns placing each one in Square, Circle, Triangle or Rectangle.
In your maths copy, draw a small square, circle, triangle and rectangle in one careful row. Neat and careful: closed shapes, no gaps.
There are three rounds of shapes to sort into the four boxes. Take turns at the board. The class names the box before each drop, so everyone helps to decide.
