Today you finish your Action Record. You already have a partner's review: three specific comments and one change they said would matter most. Your job is not to agree with all of it. Your job is to decide, change what you accept, and write one honest line on anything you leave alone and why.
Before anything else: open your draft and put your review notes where you can see them. If either is missing, take a printed spare so you can still practise the three moves.
Feedback is information about your work, not a command. You still own the record.
For each comment, choose one move:
A strong keep sounds like: "I kept the shorter opening because the detail sits in the evidence section, where the reader can check it." A weak keep sounds like: "I liked it how it was."
Those three judgement phrases stay on the board while you work: engagement in meaningful action, personal reflections on learning, and how the record is presented.
Reopen your Action Record draft where you built it. Work through the review in order.
First, in about three minutes, mark a decision beside every comment and beside the single change your partner named: Change, Part, or Keep. Do not edit yet; just lock the four decisions.
Then edit:
Sentence starters on the board are for everyone. Write every keep-line in the draft itself, not on a scrap. By the end of this work your record should be complete: action and your role, evidence, reflections, and any keep-lines. A finished honest draft beats a polished half.
Talk with a partner for two minutes, then be ready to share one sentence with the class.
Listen for reasons that point at evidence, reflection, or presentation, not at taste alone.
