Show and Tell Our Makes

Children show their makes and name the little problem each one solves, to a partner, the teacher or the class. They practise looking carefully and offering or hearing one kind comment while a make is still held up. This builds confidence in sharing ideas.

    2 - How Makers Share ~4 mins

    3 - Think About Your Make ~4 mins

    Look at your make. Whisper to a partner: what is one thing that helped it work? Then we will share.

    4 - Sharing Circle ~15 mins

    Bring your make to the circle. Some friends will show their make and say the little problem it helps with. Everyone holds their make up so we can all see. After a friend shares, one of us will say one kind thing we notice.

    5 - We Shared and Listened ~2 mins

    We showed our makes and said kind things we noticed. Makers share and listen, just like us.
