Warm-up

What is your topic, who is your audience, and what one thing should they remember?

Good feedback has three lines.

• Works: one thing that already helps the examiner.
• Change: one clear fix, using a design word.
• Question: one thing you still need to check.

Design words you can use are contrast, repetition, alignment, proximity, purpose, audience and accessibility.

Example: Jamie's phone-case pitch

• Works: The purpose is clear in one line.
• Change: The middle sections all look the same, so nothing leads the eye.
• Question: Will the text be readable from the back of the room?

You will make a notes file, then swap sketches with a partner. Follow the steps in the box below.

Copy these six lines into your notes file.

When your partner gives you feedback, type what they say under each line.

Common issues

• I can't find my sketch. Look in {{code:sm2}}. If it's only on paper, take a photo and upload it now.
• My partner only says "it looks grand". Ask them, "What is one thing you would change for the examiner?"
• I disagree with the feedback. That's fine. Keep what you can explain, but change at least one thing.

Keep the real photo ending, which is usually {{code:.jpg}}. Don't change it to {{code:.png}}.
