Look at these two coins. The copper one looks bigger. Is it worth more than the gold one?
We are lining coins up by value. Value means how many cent a coin is worth: the number stamped on it. Least first, most last. Read the cent on each coin in the line.
Now look hard at the copper 5c and the gold 10c. Which one is bigger? Which one is worth more?
Sort these coins by value, from least to most. Read the cent stamped on each card, then drag it into the line.
In your maths copy, write the coins in order of value, least first:
Sort each set from least value to most value. Read the cent first.
