JC Geography CBAs: Running Geography in the News and My Geography

A two-hour course for Junior Cycle geography teachers on the two CBAs. In 2026/27, third years complete at least one CBA, your school decides on one or two, and there is no Assessment Task. It shows what the three weeks of Geography in the News and My Geography look like in a real class, pair and group work included, and the help the NCCA guidelines allow so the work stays the student's own. You judge a sample against the Features of Quality and prepare for the SLAR meeting. Every template is yours to download and adapt.
